About This Site

This site exists so I can document my language learning journey and hopefully pass on some things to other Cymraeg Learners
At the time of writing, I've been learning - well, re-learning - for just under two years, and I'm somewhere beyond just doing Duolingo every day. I'm actively researching my second language and, since I find that I often learn best by explaining to others, I've established this blog to make notes and pass on snippets
The header image is from Wikimedia Commons, and is a picture of Worms Head on the Gower Peninsula from Rhossili. The Gower is one of my favourite places on earth, so it seemed appropriate. I, however, live in Australia right now.
I still do Duolingo every day, though since I've finished the Cymraeg course, I'm doing Daily Refresh and also learning Dutch, German, Swedish and a few others. You can follow me... here
I'm also working on a project called Mwy o Lyfrau (More Books), which aims to translate copyright-free books into Welsh. Right now, I'm working on Winnie The Pooh and enjoying it immensely.
