Lleidr Amser is the Welsh Translation of Thief of Time, by Terry Pratchett.

I am currently reading this book, even though it is somewhat beyond my “intermediate” reading level, using a bit of a hack.

The hack is fairly simple. In my headphones, I have the audio book. In my hands, I have the actual paperback. The trick is to concentrate really hard and keep up.

There’s a fair bit of pausing and rewinding, and re-reading, and occasional references off to the Geiriadur yr Academi. But it’s quite manageable, and quite enjoyable too.

Now, the book isn’t really divided into chapters, but the audio book is. It’s split into sixteen “sections”, and I’ll be doing a post about each of them.

This is the first.
